Privacy
Privacy policy.
Short and honest: what we keep about you, why, for how long, and what your rights are.
Purpose
What we use your data for
We process your name and email address solely to give you access to Crius and to contact you about your request. Optionally, you indicate whether you mainly work on site or in the office — so we can give you the right settings. We do not sell anything on and do not use your data for advertising.
Retention
How long we keep it
We retain requests for as long as you have an account or active interest, and up to 12 months after the last contact. After that, we delete your data, unless we are legally required to retain it longer.
Processor
Who manages your data
Crius is a product of Ynarchive. Ynarchive is the data controller for your data. Reachable via info@ynarchive.com.
Your rights
Access and deletion
You have the right to access your data and to have it deleted. Email info@ynarchive.com and we will arrange it within 30 days. Questions or a complaint? You can also contact the Data Protection Authority.
Cookies & Analytics
What we track and how to manage it
Crius stores functional data in your browser — your session token, recently viewed datasheets and language preference. This is necessary for the tool to work and does not require consent.
Analytics
Vercel Web Analytics
Only with your consent do we activate Vercel Web Analytics. This is a cookieless system that processes no personal data: no IP addresses, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. We only see how many pages are visited. You can change your choice at any time via the 'Cookie preferences' button at the bottom of the page.
Catalogue usage
Shared with manufacturers
When you view a product, download a document or run a search that matches a manufacturer, Crius records that usage (view, download or search term). This data is shared in aggregate with the relevant manufacturer via a private portal — so they know which products attract attention. No personal data about the user (name, email, account ID) is shared: the manufacturer sees only counts and search terms, never who searched or downloaded.
